I really like the textures in this shot Bob but I don't know if I would have used the gausian blur on this shot. Don't get me wrong it's wonderful.... and your creative choice. I just would have loved to see even more detail

@Daniel: Daniel - First and foremost, I really appreciate you opinion on this photo. It's more an experiment for me, playing around with something different rather than just the plain sharp detail of wood. I understand you opinion completely and believe me when I tell you, I gave serious thought to which version I should post. Thanks again.
