i think, some noise is needed for B&W photos. so more contrast. i cant see any white tone in your shot.

Yes, it could really be a stair in Dracula's castle. Very moody. As Mohsen said, there was no white tone in this shot: Is it really that important to have white tones in b&w shots? As I am a greenhorn in photography, I would like to learn more about that ...
